Wotton House wedding videographer, Dorking, Surrey | W4 Wedding Films
Maria and James married at the beautiful Wotton House in Dorking, Surrey and we were very happy to be chosen as their wedding videographer for the special day. With architecture dating back to the 17th Century, Wotton House has recently won the award for the Best Country Venue of 2016 at The UK Wedding Awards.
Set in 13 acres of gardens and with ponds, temples and grottos, it is very picturesque which is great for a wedding videographer as it makes for some stunning shots for the wedding film!
Inside, the ceremony room has a chapel like feel and sets the tone for an elegant wedding. Maria and James had decorated the room with white trees with crystal beads hanging from them. Some flowers and ribbons to tie the chair backs, the room doesn't need anything more as it is impressive on its own.
During the drinks reception outside, we did have the odd heavy shower to contend with, but the bride and groom took it in their stride and they managed to find time outside later on to get some lovely shots of them relaxed and playing around on the lawn, as well as getting cosy in the grotto sheltering from the rain.
Guests were treated to singing waiters, DJ and a photo booth to dress up in later in the evening.
Surrey is spoiled for elegant wedding venues, but Wotton House in Dorking is certainly one to consider if you're planning a wedding. We loved it and hope to film and create wedding videos for many more special days there in the years to come.
