Micklefield Hall Wedding Videographer
We were so pleased to be Ellen and Matt’s wedding videographer at Micklefield Hall earlier this year. We really enjoyed filming at this incredibly impressive venue and working alongside our good friend Sarah Legge Photography who as always was a delight to spend the day with.
Micklefield Hall is a country wedding venue set in the heart of Hertfordshire where couples have exclusive use of the entire estate for their special day.
Nestled in the middle of a 350 acre farm, couples can choose to tie the knot in one of two spaces. 200 guests can witness the vows in the award winning Tithe Barn first built in 1580. Or if weather permits a Civil Ceremony can take place outside at the unique temple in front of the tranquil pond and historic 450 year old Oak Tree. This space in particular is truly one to check out and in all of our years being wedding videographers, it is one of the most beautiful and magical places we have seen a marriage take place.
After the wedding takes place couples move into the palatial grounds, filled will rose gardens, sweeping lawns and herbaceous borders. This is a perfect spot for the all important photos and of course wedding video!
The wedding breakfast takes place in the barn, with its beams dating back to 1490. Whist still retaining its traditional feeling and history the space has been truly modernised to include underfloor heating, a stunning dance floor, state of the art PA system and lighting.
Kalm Kitchen is the exclusive catering partner, creating a delicious tailor-made menu guaranteed to satisfy every pallet.
Finally at the end of the celebrations, there are six sumptuous bedrooms which are available to book for the couple and their guests.
As you can see this venue is a perfect choice for couples to hold their wedding at. It’s easy to see why Ellen and Matt picked this location for their big day and we are so glad that they chose us to capture the special memories.
