Same Sex Marriage and Gay Weddings
Since it became legal in 2014 we have been very pleased to be wedding videographers at gay marriage and same sex weddings throughout Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey and London. We’re very lucky to work with many Brides and Grooms on multiple lesbian and gay weddings throughout these areas.
Usually a same sex wedding is a civil ceremony which you can see examples of throughout our site. This type of ceremony means couples have such a wide choice of venues and locations, inside or outside, luxury hotel or rustic barn, the options are endless. However, some churches and other places of worship are starting to change their attitudes to the LGBTQ+ community and hopefully all couples will soon be able to declare their love and marry wherever and whenever they choose.
You can see below and example of a recent gay wedding at Farnham Castle in Surrey. Michael and Philip had a wonderful day, there wasn’t a dry eye during the ceremony and their reception and evening party was fantastic. We never forget how lucky and privileged we are to be a part of any couples wedding and we know how important it is to create a film that couples will want to watch time and again.
Regardless of who is getting married, all of our wedding films are made with the same care and attention, you can see more about what we offer on our prices and packages page. Many couples may also choose to have some optional extras added such as drone videography and we are pleased to be recognised by the CAA to fly drones legally at weddings.
With all weddings, our approach is to be discreet and professional at all times. We don’t pose or set up shots as we want the film to be a natural reflection of the day rather than making the couple or their guests feel awkward or anxious.
Depending on which package couples choose, mostly we film from the morning to the evening party and on average produce a 20 minute film alongside the full versions of the ceremony, speeches and first dance. We also create a shorter highlights montage (like the ones that you see throughout our site) that can be easily shared with family and friends.
