Notley Abbey
We are award-winning wedding videographers who regularly film at Notley Abbey in Buckinghamshire. This beautiful country house venue near Thame sits on the border of Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire and offers a stunning backdrop for wedding films.
We are proud to be a recommended partner at Notley Abbey and have filmed many weddings at the venue over the years, capturing the mix of historic architecture and elegant outdoor spaces, from the long tree-lined driveway to the intimate courtyard settings.
The venue is a listed building and registered national monument and was in recent years returned to its former glory through painstaking refurbishment. It has a long sweeping tree-lined driveway so you can arrive in style to this spectacular house, which is exclusive-use for you and your guests only on your wedding day.
It has several options for civil ceremonies, including the Abbot's Hall, the Monks' refectory and the Walled Garden Nook. The Refectory is a stone barn, where Augustine monks dined in the 13th Century. It seats up to 190 guests so you can feel as though you are hosting your own medieval banquet for your wedding breakfast. The Abbot's Hall offers a more intimate setting, but still has the medieval feel with its huge fireplace.
Our home base is in Surrey so we often film across venues in Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and the surrounding counties. If you're planning your big day at Notley Abbey and are looking for a wedding videographer, please do get in touch — we’d love to hear more about your plans.
If you are considering Notley Abbey, you might also like venues such as Danesfield House, The Elvetham or Easthampstead Park, which offer a similar unique countryside setting.
