Being a wedding videographer in Berkshire | Our favourite venues | W4 Wedding Films

We love filming wedding videos in Berkshire, it’s a stunning county full of beautiful landscapes, buildings and you are constantly reminded of the hundreds of years of history surrounding the area.

When we make our wedding films we focus on the couple and their story, however, a romantic church, beautiful ceremony room or a fantastic reception venue can really add to a wedding video. If you are looking for inspiration then Berkshire has some amazing things to offer and we would like to take a moment to tell you about one of our favourite areas to film in.

Home to Windsor Castle, the largest inhabited castle in the world, Berkshire is a ‘Royal County’ and also home to Eton College, where many Prime ministers, actors and world leaders have been schooled.

If you are looking to visit the county to get some ideas or soak up the atmosphere, there is much to see. Ascot racecourse was established in 1711 by Queen Anne and is now one of the premiere courses in the world. Reading Abbey is a breathtaking building, founded in 1121, King Henry I is buried there and it’s well worth a visit.

Legoland have a world class theme park near Windsor and only a few minutes aways is the historical area of Runnymede, where the Magna Carta was signed in 1215. We really recommend a walk around the area, especially by the Thames and you may even want to take a trip on the famous Steamboat too! TV fans will know that Berks is also where Highclere Castle is located, most famously known as ‘Downton Abbey’. And let's not forget also that Reading was even home to the first ever ‘Little Chef’ in 1958! Truly something for everyone.

Videographers often love to share their work shot in Berkshire, because of the wealth of top wedding venues in the county. Berks has some of the best the UK has to offer and we are very lucky to be the recommended wedding videographer for many of them.

Oakley Court, Beaumont Estate, Wokefield Park and Easthamsptead Park are just some of the places we love filming in Berkshire. They all have beautiful rooms to hold your ceremony and reception along with palatial grounds, perfect for your drinks reception and your all important photos!

We are very fortunate to being able to film weddings in Berkshire and we would love to share some of our work shot there with you. If you have any questions about the venues we have worked at, please do not hesitate to contact us.
