We had an extremely busy May Bank Holiday weekend this year, in which we were the videographers at three weddings in as many days. We were fortunate to return to a church we have filmed in before, St Mary the Virgin Church in Henley High Street, Oxfordshire. The bride and groom were Sue and Ben, who had been recommended to us as we were the wedding videographers at their friends' wedding - Melissa and Simon - who got married at Beaumont Estate last year. Melissa was a bridesmaid at Sue and Ben's wedding, and on the day told us that they had sat down and watched their wedding film again the night before and that it still makes them cry!
After the church ceremony, guests lined up to throw confetti at the couple, who made their way the short distance to the Red Lion Hotel. After a few photos, the bride and groom went down to the river and set sail on a boat, where we were able to get some beautiful shots of the two of them waving to their guests on the riverbank! Their own mini Henley regatta, a month before the real event took place on the same stretch of the Thames.
Returning to the hotel to join guests for their wedding breakfast, followed by dancing the night away, the weather stayed fine and a great day was had by all.
Now Sue & Ben have their happy memories to look back on in their wedding video and they couldn't be happier with their film. Sue said,
