Wedding videographers at Strawberry Hill House, Twickenham, London | W4 Wedding Films
Strawberry Hill House in Twickenham is a truly unique wedding venue – a restored 18th century Gothic castle, once home to the Gothic writer Horace Walpole, son of former British Prime Minister Robert Walpole, who designed the castle.
The interior of the building has an opulence but remains unobtrusive. The exterior and grounds make a stunning backdrop to any wedding and make for a beautiful wedding film.
We had the pleasure to be the wedding videographers for Lok Ting’s wedding at Strawberry Hill House. Although Twickenham is only half an hour from the hustle and bustle of London, it feels a million miles away and the gothic house creates a truly magical feel different to anything you will find in the capital. We were blessed with sunny weather on the day – the brilliant white castle reflecting the sun’s light onto guests.
After the ceremony in the beautiful decorated room the guests all moved out to the lawn for drinks and photos. The evenings entertainment included a fun Céilidh dance which is so great to film and it's always nice to see the dance floor packed from early in the evening.
The couple recently moved overseas, but will forever hold a piece of English history with memories of their wedding day, all captured in their wedding film which we hope they will treasure for years to come.
