Natasha and Matthew’s wedding at Farnham Castle was a really memorable day to be part of, with lots of meaningful moments and a great atmosphere from start to finish.
As recommended suppliers at Farnham Castle, it’s a venue we’re very familiar with. It always looks impressive, and the layout works really well for both the flow of the day and capturing everything naturally as it unfolds.
The ceremony was incredibly emotional, with some really genuine reactions from family and friends. After the civil ceremony, they did something a little different—a close friend led a more personal, religious ceremony with blessings, hymns and prayers. It added a deeper, more personal feel to the day and was something that clearly meant a lot to them.
Once everyone moved outside, things became more relaxed. Matthew is a professional golfer, so there was a brilliant mini golf setup on the lawn for guests to enjoy. With the castle as a backdrop, it made for a great setting and something a bit unique for everyone to get involved in.
The food was another standout part of the day. Guests were treated to sharing boards followed by a really well put together dessert station, which went down incredibly well and looked great too.
In the evening, a live band took over and kept the dancefloor busy right through the night. It was the perfect way to round everything off.
From our perspective, it was a pleasure to film—lots of genuine moments, a strong connection between everyone there, and a couple who were clearly enjoying every part of the day.
