As local wedding videographers to Great Fosters in Egham, we would like to write a little about this astonishing venue.
We are one of Great Fosters 'Trusted Suppliers' and this is certainly top of our list of recommendations for couples looking for a Surrey wedding venue.
The original house was built in 1550 and still retains it original charm, whilst still including all the modern refinements couples expect on their big day. The gardens, which are such a highlight, were first laid out in 1918 and today it's the perfect spot to get those all important wedding photos.
Recently Great Fosters was awarded 'Hotel of the year' by the AA, which just goes to show how impressive this special grade one listed building really is.
The hotel can accommodate up to 200 guests for weddings and ceremonies take place either in the Orangey, the Garden Room, or outside in the Pavilion.
Most receptions take place in the amazing tithe barn, which can hold up to 180 guests. The barn dates from the 1330's and it's such a unique space to wow your guests underneath the oak beams and Minstrel gallery.
It's amazing to see how many different amazing spaces to hold a wedding this venue has.
We can't neglect to talk about the wonderful food that Great Fosters has to offer. The Hotel has a Michelin Star first awarded in 2016 and it's easy to see why, the food is stunning and we know how much couples enjoy their wedding breakfast at the venue.
