As an experienced wedding videographer in Surrey, we have had the pleasure of filming at Millbridge Court many times and always enjoy working at this beautiful venue.
Set in the heart of the beautiful Surrey countryside, Millbridge Court is a spectacular venue. It includes newly built wedding facilities, which include the 7 bedroom hotel and the restaurant/kitchen.
Partnered with the great Kalm Kitchen, the catering and event team have over 10 years of experience, focusing on the small details and keeping each wedding unique and focused on the couple.
The grounds surrounding the venue are breathtaking, the River Wey can be seen from the gardens and you may even spot the neighbouring horses nearby. Couples can choose to marry outside or inside the impressive ceremony hall, which can hold up to 150 guests and boasts wooden beam ceilings and lovely floor to ceiling glass walls so you can take in the view whilst saying 'I do'!
For later in the day couples move to the oak beamed dining room which can hold up to 200 guests, and can enjoy some of the beautiful food that this venue has to offer.
We really enjoy our time at Millbridge Court and the staff and catering team are always friendly and helpful at every wedding we film there.

Filming a Wedding at Millbridge Court
Millbridge Court has a particularly natural flow for wedding films. The day can begin quietly in The Loft and The Lodge before moving into the main house for the ceremony, then gradually opening out into the gardens and surrounding countryside as the celebrations get underway.
The Gallery is especially useful from a filming perspective. Its tall windows and generous natural light give the ceremony a beautiful sense of scale, while the room can later become part of the evening celebrations, creating a completely different atmosphere as the day progresses.
For outdoor ceremonies, The Arbour provides another setting with views across the surrounding meadows. After the ceremony, the terrace and gardens naturally lend themselves to drinks, conversations and those less formal moments with friends and family.
When everyone comes back inside for the wedding breakfast, Dockenfield Hall brings another change of character, with its timber detailing, panelling and large windows looking out towards the countryside. These changes in setting help us tell the story of the whole day while keeping the film centred around the people rather than simply documenting the venue.
Because we know Millbridge Court well, we can work around the natural rhythm of a wedding here without constantly directing you or asking you to repeat moments. Our aim is to let the day happen while we quietly look for the reactions, interactions and little pieces of atmosphere that you may not notice until you watch your film back.
