As local wedding videographers we can certainly say that Wotton House in Dorking, Surrey has it all. Roman style temples, Italian style gardens, a chapel style indoor ceremony room (the Old Library) and stunning surroundings in a 13 acre countryside estate. The 17th Century private walled garden makes a gorgeous backdrop for wedding photos and video, and there is also a secret fairytale grotto, perfect for those romantic shots.

Filming a Wedding at Wotton House
One of the things we particularly enjoy about filming at Wotton House is the way the day can develop naturally around the house. There are moments when the attention is on the couple and their guests, followed by quieter periods where we can concentrate on the details, atmosphere and little interactions that might otherwise be forgotten.
The architecture also gives us some beautiful opportunities for more considered shots. The stonework, windows, doorways and interiors can be used to frame moments rather than simply providing a backdrop, particularly when we are filming couples together or capturing those quieter parts of the day.
As the celebrations progress, we can also make use of the areas around the house for photographs and couple footage without having to take you away from your wedding for long periods. We prefer to keep these moments relaxed and unobtrusive, allowing you to enjoy being together rather than turning them into a formal filming session.
